Moody Mindfulness for Resilient Shades

Level Up Your Mindfulness Game

A holistic approach to mental health for the BIPOC community with three new courses to choose from.

Moody Mindfulness for Resilient Shades

Advocating for Mental Health, Racial Equity, and Social Justice

Moody Mindfulness for Resilient Shades is dedicated to promoting racial equality, eliminating mental health stigma in BIPOC communities, and advocating for social justice. Daily acts of racial violence, injustice, and discrimination can affect mental health in ways that can make it hard to get through the day, let alone thrive in the world. Unfortunately, African Americans are less likely to practice mindfulness meditation than other groups, despite the fact that the practice has been shown to be effective at reducing stress and anxiety. This online program was created to change that.

If you’re a busy parent or a professional and have no time to learn in person or for courses during business hours, you can find an online course that works around your schedule.

Finding Balance
and Peace

Mindfulness meditation is a technique that involves the simple behavior of focused attention with kindness that positively influences the feelings, cognition, neurology, and biology of individuals, leading to improvements in mental health, outlook, coping, and health.

Hi there, I’m Tracy! I’m a certified mindfulness mediation coach and the owner of Moody Mindfulness for Resilient Shades, LLC and Shades of Resilience Counseling, PLLC. In my opinion, not everyone struggling emotionally needs intensive therapy but still needs support to get through the rough patches. I believe that mindfulness meditation is a powerful tool for healing, growth, and well-being.

Mindfulness meditation isn’t woo-woo, magic, or anything mysterious. Truth be told, personally, I don’t promote the use of any special pillows or needing to sit in any particular position, because my meditation practices are far from “pretty”, meaning I sometimes cuss and/or have an attitude at the start of my practices but always feel much better afterward.

Thus the name Moody Mindfulness aka Mindful AF…
